Kordhell is an anonymous musician, artist, and record producer from the United Kingdom, currently residing in an unknown location somewhere within California. He previously played in various extreme metal acts, until abandoning these projects for his mysterious Electronic music project, under the new moniker “Kordhell”. In early 2022, Kordhell’s song “Murder In My Mind” exploded on TikTok and YouTube, helping the song reach the Billboard Dance charts, UK top 100, and its current status of over 200 million+ Spotify streams. Boasting a massive 14 million+ monthly listeners, and over 4 million Spotify streams per day, Kordhell is one of music’s fastest growing streaming stories and artists of 2022. Currently working on the Fast & Furious X soundtrack and various high profile remixes and collaborations, expect Kordhell’s momentum to only increase in 2023 and beyond.

Hailing from the UK and residing in California, Mick Kenny created the anonymous DJ and music producer moniker, Kordhell. Kordhell has quickly become a household name in the emerging phonk scene. Getting ready to break boundaries, Kordhell will be the first Phonk artist to go on an official, national US tour. With stops across some of the country’s biggest cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York City, Kordhell is bringing Phonk music to big crowds and prestigious venues with thrilling sets. The creator of some of the biggest trending audios across social media, Spotify, and achieving UK Top 100 status, Kordhell started with humble beginnings. Signed by Black 17 Media in 2020, the label saw immediate and immense potential in Kordhell, who was reaching close to 5000 streams per day. Fast forward to 2023, the artist is now hitting over 4 million streams per day. His hit single “Murder In My Mind” went officially RIAA Gold in February and his song “9 In My Hand” feat. Key Glock is used in the latest Fast & Furious sequel, Fast X, which is a first for Phonk artists.

Known for its mellow, hypnotic beats, phonk is making waves with a sound that seamlessly blends hip hop with electronic, it’s rapidly grown to take over some of the country’s largest trends across TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. The genre is the result of 90’s underground Memphis Rap fusing together with a dark, electric house twist.

Kordhell is at the forefront of the rising Phonk movement and other artists as well as Black 17 are seeing rapid growth across the industry. The label is seeing over 30 million streams a day across their catalog and are the #1 TikTok label on Sony’s The Orchard.
